get to know Katy

Katy was born and raised in Guatemala. Her love for art began during her time at the Whitney Museum of Modern Art in New York. Her experience at the museum sparked a special interest in the stories behind each piece. She has led the creative direction, interiors, marketing, and execution for various projects, such as luxury boutique hotels Villa Bokéh and Casa Palopó. After studying fashion business, Katy worked in luxury fashion houses including Carolina Herrera, Proenza Schouler, and Christian Dior perfumes & cosmetics.

She is a creative soul with a keen eye for interior design, a passion for art, and contemporary living. Her ultimate dream is to share the unknown stories of each individual behind their art, while at the same time building a community of artisans in the most beautiful place on earth, Atitlan Guatemala.
